Parking spaces - Campus Aalborg
The parking rules on the campus areas in Aalborg are imposed on AAU by Aalborg municipality and follow the municipality's rules on public parking. Rounding of parking attendants can be expected.
Parking should preferably be in the large car parks west of Pontoppidansstræde, north of Fibigerstræde, south of Kroghstræde, south of Thomas Manns Vej and on Fredrik Bajers Vej. In these spaces, there is free parking with no time limits.
A limited number of parking spaces are marked inside the university grounds. Parking is only permitted in the marked spaces. If you park outside the marked spaces, you risk being noted by the parking attendants.
Parking facilities in Aalborg City
As an AAU employee or student, you can take out a subscription to use Q-park's parking "Kulturen" at Musikkens Hus on weekdays at 07.00–18.00. Please note that you enter into an agreement with Q-park yourself and that AAU is not obligated to the parties.
Parking for disabled persons
The parking spaces are for use by all vehicles for disabled persons. It is not possible to reserve a parking space for a specific car number.
Vehicles for disabled persons must have a disability sign in the windscreen. If more parking places for vehicles for disabled persons are needed, please contact campus@adm.aau.dk
Parking license required by NOVI
In the parking lots at NOVI at Niels Jernes Vej 6, 8, 10, 12, 14 and Alfred Nobels Vej 21-27, there is a check of Q-Park attandants and a parking license is required.
Employees at AAU can obtain parking licenses for NOVI's parking areas by contacting Facility Support, facilitysupport@adm.aau.dk with information about your name, work-email and the car's registration number.
Students cannot get a parking permit.
Parking permits for institute vehicles
If there is a need for space for department cars, (new) spaces can possibly be assigned by Campus Service. Such spaces will be marked with "Private parking" and car number. Setting up parking spaces is at the institute's own expense.
Permit for parking outside marked parking spaces
You can apply for a special parking permit, which allows you to park outside the marked parking spaces. The permits are intended for service vehicles, e.g. institute vehicles, as well as internal and external craftsmen who need to park close to a given entrance. Such permits will be time-limited.
