Buildings & Maintenance
The Buildings & Maintenance department works with the development and operation of the university's building portfolio, which AAU rents partly from the Danish Building Agency (BYGST) and partly from private landlords.
AAU is responsible for the interior maintenance of buildings, installations etc. and also assists BYGST with the exterior maintenance of the buildings the university rents here. On these buildings, AAU also handles gardening, cleaning and renovation, while the exterior maintenance of buildings and terrain on private tenancies is primarily the responsibility of the landlord.
