Fire safety regulations

As a borrower, you must ensure that AAU is not held liable for any claims resulting from accidents, personal injuries, or similar incidents during the loan period.

Fire safety regulations

The use of candles, open flames, or fireworks is not allowed in group rooms, offices, common areas, lunchrooms, or similar spaces within AAU buildings. If a fire alarm is triggered due to negligence during the loan of the room, the borrower is responsible for covering any related emergency response fees.

The room renter must comply with the fire department's rules according to the applicable fire safety instructions and ensure the number of people in the room does not exceed the agreed capacity.

The renter is also obligated to compensate for any damage caused to buildings or equipment.

Special regulations for larger events

For larger events expecting around 150 participants or more, a meeting must be arranged with Facility Support to discuss practical arrangements related to the event. This meeting includes, among other things, agreements on changes to furniture setup in relation to the fire safety plan, etc.

It is the renter's responsibility to contact Facility Support at facilitysupport@adm.aau.dk, and this must be done NO LATER than 4 weeks before the event takes place.
