• What if I change my name?

In case of any changes in your personal information, you need to contact the HR department.

• Do I need to renew my AAUcard or do I keep the same card?

You will keep the same card throughout your employment at AAU. The card will be replaced if it is damaged, lost, or the functionality is lost.

• Can I have two AAUcards?

If you are both employed and a student at the university, it is possible to have a card both as an employee and as a student.

• Can I send an existing digital image?

All images need to be in the same format and resolution, and we do not have the capacity to edit images. Therefore, you have to contact your Facility Support Team in order to have your photograph taken.

• How do I obtain an AAUcard?

New students obtain an AAUcard by uploading a photo in the self-service system UniStart. You obtain login information to UniStart once you have been admitted.

• What do i do I have ordered my AAUcard but have not received it?

You need to contact your local Facility Support Team or send an email to aaucard@adm.aau.dk as soon as possible.

• What do I do when I receive my AAUcard?

You must create a PIN code for your AAUcard. Your card is ready for use when you have creted the PIN code.

• what if I have problems with my PIN code?

• What if I am unable to access the campus buildings that I have previously had acces to?

You should contact the local Facility Support Team

• What if I lose my AAUcard?

You need to contact your local Facility Support Team or send an email to aaucard@adm.aau.dk as soon as possible.
Your AAUcard will then be closed and a new card will be ordered. If you send an email, remember to state your student number or your date of birth.

• What if I change my name?

• Do I have to renew my AAUcard or do I keep the same card for the duration of my studies at the university?

You will keep the same card for the duration of your studies at the university. The card will be renewed if it is damaged, lost or its functionality is lost. 

• Can I use the card as a discount card?

Some shops offer student discounts, and you can use the AAUcard to identify yourself as a student. Since the AAUcard does not have an expiration date, you may need to print out a Confirmation of Enrolment via STADS self-service.
